Towanda Borough will hold their 35th Annual Riverfest from Thursday, August 17th through Saturday, August 19th, located along the Merrill Parkway River Walk, on the banks of the Susquehanna River.
Come out for three big days of fun including a wide selection of delicious food, live music every day, craft & retail vendors, a carnival midway with fun rides by Huey’s Amusements, contests, and more!
Saturday will have several special events including a 5K Walk/Run at 8:30am (registration 7:30am), Kids Fun Run at 10am, Big Wheels Drag Race Tournament at noon, Hill Speedway Race Car Show at 1pm, along with live music all day.
The celebration is capped off with their annual “Fire Over the Water” fireworks spectacular on Saturday night; Riverfest’s famous fireworks display over the Susquehanna. Fireworks begin at 9:30pm.
