Kipona is an annual Labor Day weekend celebration on the waterfront in Harrisburg, celebrating the achievements of American workers and paying homage to the great city of Harrisburg. The festival is the largest special event in the city and features two music stages with 30 bands, daily entertainment, delicious food and treats, artists village, biergarten, Native American Pow Wow, Festival of India, children’s festival with entertainment and face painting, and much more!

The celebration will feature are spectacular fireworks display on Sunday, September 3rd at 8:15pm.

Admission to Kipona is Free! Street parking is free on Sunday and Monday. Parking is $4 on City Island and all day event parking, from 10am – 10pm, is $10 at the Market Square garage.
